Bite Me. Please!

So I went to Walker Stalker Con this year. First time I have ever been to a Sci-Fi convention. The only reason I went was to see the two handsome fellas of The Vampire Diaries: Paul Wesley (Stefan) and Ian Somerhalder (Damon). Was it totally worth it? Yes. Would I go see them again? Yes. I actually got to meet Paul Wesley, and I was so nervous words can't even describe the emotions. When I finally met him and saw him for the first time,I would describe it as love at first sight, but to him I was just another girl who adores him.
I had an amazing time, met some cool ladies who were there to see the guys as well, and some cast member from The Walking Dead. It was an unique experience and it was a great memory!

Stone Mountain Laser Show

At its summit, the elevation is 1,686 feet and 825 feet above the surrounding area. Stone Mountain is well-known not only for its geology, but also for the enormous bas-relief on its north face, the largest bas-relief in the world. The carving depicts three figures of the Confederate States of America: Stonewall Jackson, Robert E. Lee, and Jefferson Davis.

14th Annual Little 5 Points Halloween Parade

Loca Luna

Loca Luna is located in Atlanta, closer to Little 5 Points. It's a sharing type of meal, so instead of ordering a meal for one, you order a 'tapas' (which is basically like a appetizer). There are no meal styled plates on the menu, except for the tacos which comes with one taco and one taco only. No rice and no beans. So Shilo and I soon learned that this is a sharing type of a meal!!
They also turn into a bar/night club after a certain hour, and have salsa dance lessons throughout the week!
Pretty good, and it is another place checked off of our Atlanta Bucket List.

Night out with friends (Brunswick Entertainment)

Bulloch Hall

Bulloch Hall
Bulloch Hall was constructed in 1839 for Major James S. Bulloch and his wife Martha Stewart Elliot Bulloch when they moved to Roswell from Savannah. The Bulloch's had four children from previous marriages, and had 4 more children together (Anna, Mittie, Charles, and Irvine). Mittie the second daughter, became the mother of President Theodore Roosevelt (our 26th president) and grandmother of Eleanor Roosevelt.

Archibald Smith Plantation Home

In Roswell, there is this elegant home constructed by one of the town's founding fathers, Archibald Smith. In 1838, the Smith family and nearly 28 of their slaves left two plantations in St. Mary's, along the southern coast of Georgia, to make a new start with some 300 acres of cotton farmland north of the Roswell Town Square.
For over 150 years, the Smith's plantation home has stood the test of time as the civil war was brought to it's front steps, and all around it, the small mill village of Roswell erupted into a bustling metropolitan suburb.
Perfectly preserved are the Smith's two-story farm house, complete with outbuilding, including slave quarters, a cook house, corn crib, carriage house, well, and spring house.
Three generations of the Archibald Smith family lived in the house,  their family cook lived in the house till her passing in 1994, and most of their belongings (which chests are still in the attic from the original Archibald Smith family).

Braves Country.

You all knew I would make my way to Turner Field to watch the Atlanta Braves--and I loved every minute of it! The field and stadium itself was great, and there was so much interaction at the game. It was a perfect way to spend a Wednesday evening, especially since the weather was amazing. One thing that really made the experience was when the whole stadium would do the Tomahawk Chop! If you don't know what the Chop is, watch this video:

Growing up, I always knew that Chipper Jones was one of the great to play for the Braves, and I know Hank Aaron was also a legend here in Braves Country. So for those who don't know much about Hank Aaron, I did some research.
Henry "Hank" Aaron played right field. He played in the National League for 21 seasons (Atlanta & Milwaukee) and the last two season of his career for the Brewers in the American League. He once held the MLB record for career home runs for 33 years, and still holds many other records in the MLB.  He hit 24 or more home runs every year from 1955 to 1973, and is the ONLY player to hit 30 or more home runs in a season at least 15 times.
Hank is not the only Aaron that made it to the MLB. His brother Tommie Aaron actually would end up playing Hank in the MLB. Hank started his baseball career with a brief appearance in the Negro American League and in a minor league before making his start in the major leagues.
Aaron holds the record for the most seasons as an All-Star (21) and for the most All-Star game selections (25). He was named to the National League All-Star roster 20 times and the American League roster one time.  He holds MLB records for the most career runs batted in (RBI) (2,297)extra base hits (1,477), and total bases (6,856). Aaron is also in the top five for career hits (3,771) and runs (2,174). He is one of only four players to have at least seventeen seasons with 150 or more hits. He also is in second place in home runs (755) and at-bats (12,364), and in third place in games played (3,298). At the time of his retirement, Aaron held most of the game's key career power hitting records.

After retirement, Aaron was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982, and currently resides in Atlanta, with a position at the Braves.

The Swan House

Swan House, traditionally known as one of the most recognized and photographed landmarks in Atlanta, is an elegant, classically styled mansion built in 1928 for the Edward H. Inman family, heirs to a cotton brokerage fortune. The mansion, designed by famed Atlanta architect Philip Trammell Shutze, provides a glimpse into the lifestyle of this Atlanta family during the 1920s and 1930s.
Before coming to Atlanta, I did some searching for sites I'd like to see while I was here. The Swan House has been on my list since day 1. It has been home to weddings, photo-shoots, and even movies (The Hunger Games Trilogy). Not going to lie, I would not mind having my Bridals or Engagement photos taken here-everything about this place was absolutely breathtaking.
Before going on our tour, we had lunch at the Swan House Coach House which is located on the same grounds as the house. The food was delightful, my "Georgia Peach" cocktail (screwdriver with a hint of peach) was yummy, and the place was dainty and elegant.
I have never seen something as beautiful as this house. So much history wrapped up into one location. It was like I was stepping into the 20's and going to a Gatsby party. If I could go back to a decade, it would be during the time this house was in its prime--I would have loved to see the parties that were held here!!

Come to Atlanta and see this elegant, rich, and gorgeous house that has so much history!
