Labor Day Weekend: Marietta Confederate Cemetery

Talk about history! This place was incredible. Seeing graves from the late 1800's and so on, and all of the confederate tombstones with flags standing tall beside them. Coming from the south, you learn all about the union and the good ol' confederate rival. Each section was grouped by State--so to name a few: Texas, Georgia, North & South Carolina... One interesting thing I saw was the Slave Plot. Only 19 of slaves are buried here next to tons of white men & a few women. 

This was a place to see, and to add--in very well condition! If you ever come to Atlanta, go see this because it's quite a lamdmark.
