Topelo Honey Cafe--Downtown Asheville

While Topelo Honey revere the time-honored traditions of the Southern cook, you will find their take on the Southern plate is a little different. Because Topelo Honey CafĂ© Is a little different. Their transformation of just about everything Southern-from fried chicken to sweet potatoes-is decidedly spirited, independent, and frequently unscripted.
Topelo Honey Cafe was delicious. From their complementary homemade jam and biscuit, their Texas Margarita, their shrimp and chicken ricotta entree, and their banana pudding--everything was amazing and hit the spot. I had the privilege of sitting at the bar and was able to see how their cooks work behind the counter!
Shout out to Nick for recommending this delightful place!

Toto, we are not in Texas anymore!

I decided to take a weekend trip to Asheville, North Carolina! It was a "must see". I have never seen much color during the fall due to living in Texas my whole life--until now! Not only did I get to see yellow, orange, red, and green trees, I also saw snow!

Bite Me. Please!

So I went to Walker Stalker Con this year. First time I have ever been to a Sci-Fi convention. The only reason I went was to see the two handsome fellas of The Vampire Diaries: Paul Wesley (Stefan) and Ian Somerhalder (Damon). Was it totally worth it? Yes. Would I go see them again? Yes. I actually got to meet Paul Wesley, and I was so nervous words can't even describe the emotions. When I finally met him and saw him for the first time,I would describe it as love at first sight, but to him I was just another girl who adores him.
I had an amazing time, met some cool ladies who were there to see the guys as well, and some cast member from The Walking Dead. It was an unique experience and it was a great memory!

Stone Mountain Laser Show

At its summit, the elevation is 1,686 feet and 825 feet above the surrounding area. Stone Mountain is well-known not only for its geology, but also for the enormous bas-relief on its north face, the largest bas-relief in the world. The carving depicts three figures of the Confederate States of America: Stonewall Jackson, Robert E. Lee, and Jefferson Davis.

14th Annual Little 5 Points Halloween Parade

Loca Luna

Loca Luna is located in Atlanta, closer to Little 5 Points. It's a sharing type of meal, so instead of ordering a meal for one, you order a 'tapas' (which is basically like a appetizer). There are no meal styled plates on the menu, except for the tacos which comes with one taco and one taco only. No rice and no beans. So Shilo and I soon learned that this is a sharing type of a meal!!
They also turn into a bar/night club after a certain hour, and have salsa dance lessons throughout the week!
Pretty good, and it is another place checked off of our Atlanta Bucket List.
